Fluke Networks LRAT-2000 LinkRunner AT Network Auto-Tester
The Fluke Networks LinkRunner AT 2000 Network Auto-Tester is a portable troubleshooting device for yzing and testing Ethernet networks over copper and fiber optic cable infrastructure. It stores and performs automated connectivity tests to help identify and yze network problems. The device yzes copper or fiber cabling infrastructure, verifies connections at 10M/100M/1G, validates power over Ethernet (PoE) performance, and discovers VLAN ports and switches to help identify potential issues. It measures the availability and responsiveness of network services, including DHCP and DNS, to diagnose and solve complex issues. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing for compatibility with location and identification protocols, and provides 802.1x authentication to verify access to secure networks. In packet reflector mode it can be used as a remote device during throughput tests to validate LAN and WAN throughput capabilities. The LinkRunner AT 2000 has a 2.8" LCD screen to display test results, and a 12-key elastomeric keypad for navigation. LinkRunner Manager softw is included with the device, and enables the operator to generate and save up to 50 reports, manage LinkRunner AT profiles, and upgrade the LinkRunner AT firmw. The softw is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, and Microsoft Windows 7. The device comes with wiremap adapter #1, an RJ45 coupler, a USB cable, an AC adapter, a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, LinkRunner Manager softw CD, a soft case, and instructions. This portable network testing device is suitable for use by network technicians to verify network connectivity in local-a networks such as office buildings or schools.

Portable networking devices used to test and monitor the performance of wired and wireless networks in large organizations. Local-a networks (LANs) made up of wiring, computers, servers, printers, phones, softw applications, and networking devices in a limited geographic a such as an office or school. A wide-a network (WAN) contains similar devices and wiring, but encompes a broad a, linking businesses or organizations across regional or national boundaries. Network engineers use portable networking devices to pinpoint connectivity or performance issues on a network, and to diagnose and solve network problems. Networking devices help troubleshoot copper or fiber optic cable wiring connections and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring that cables connected and that network devices working properly. They measure network performance and the network's ability to transfer data according to the organization's needs, and they can verify that softw services within a network available and responsive.
Fluke Networks, a division of Fluke Corporation, manufactures tools and softw for network deployment, performance management, and troubleshooting. The company, founded in 1992, is headquartered in Everett, WA.
